The Opportunity
As the Distributor Relations & Data Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in managing our relationships with key distributors such as KeHE and UNFI. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of distribution processes, analyzing spins data, creating opportunity reports, and driving business growth by enhancing our brand partners distribution. In this role, you are the backbone that helps ensure sales operations success through use of your analytical and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with distributor contacts including Category Managers, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Support, and Key Account Management Teams.
Monitor inventory levels at distributor centers and coordinate prompt pallet orders to capitalize on sales opportunities.
Assist in setting up new distribution centers to facilitate product availability to key accounts.
Utilize data from SPINS, WFM Portal, and other sources to pull insights that drive strategic decisions and improve sales outcomes.
Support Key Account Managers by providing assistance with sales operations and during high-demand periods.
Organize and manage the submission of new vendor packets, new item setups, seasonal items, and price changes.
Ensure alignment of promotional calendars and proper execution of monthly promotions and product changes.
Regularly monitor and review distributor policies and procedures, negotiating modifications as needed to support our brand partners' goals.
Attend trade shows, national meetings, and other industry events to maintain strong industry connections and stay updated on market trends.
Minimal travel required, primarily for attending industry-specific events and meetings.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing business with major distributors like UNFI/KeHE.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent time management abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with Excellent Skills in Excel and capable of navigating distributor-specific platforms like KeHE Connect and UNFI ClearVue Portal.
Proficient in data and analytics
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Previous experience in food and beverage sales or distribution preferred.
Must own a smartphone and computer; proficiency in remote work technologies required.
